Chinese Challenger Web Flashcards
All HSK levels packaged into classic style word banks
4,997 HSK 1–6 words with spaced repetition, in your browser. Recall the word, check the answer, rate how well you knew it. The schedule handles the rest.
“Again” sends the card to the back of this demo deck. In the full version, spaced repetition decides when each word comes back, from minutes to months later.
Or use the Chinese Challenger App to learn like you're gaming, like flashcards for the modern era.
How it works
Pick a level
Each HSK level is its own deck. Work through them in order or jump to the one you're preparing for.
Recall, then check
See the character, try to recall the sound and meaning, then reveal pinyin and the English gloss. Or flip it and go from English to Chinese.
Rate yourself honestly
Again, Hard, Good or Easy. Words you struggle with come back soon; words you know move further out, so each session goes to the words that need it.

FAQ
1. Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and keep access to the levels you bought for as long as the site runs. There are no renewals.
2. How is this different from the Chinese Challenger iPhone app?
The app turns vocabulary into fast arcade-style rounds. Web Flashcards is the quiet version: one card at a time, spaced repetition, built for focused study sessions at a desk or on any browser.
3. Which word lists do the decks use?
The HSK 2.0 vocabulary lists for levels 1 to 6. Words that appear in more than one level's list are kept in the lowest level so you never study the same card twice.
4. Can I upgrade from HSK 1–3 to the full set later?
Yes. If you own HSK 1–3, the complete HSK 1–6 set costs $30, the difference between the two. Your progress carries over.
5. Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser on desktop, tablet or phone, and your progress is saved to your account so you can switch devices.
6. Is there audio?
Not yet. Cards show hanzi, pinyin and English. Pronunciation audio is planned.
